We are pleased to announce the release of Causeway® versions 2.7 and 2.8 . In 2.7 we introduced our Telemetry functionality which allows authors to receive information about student usage of their learning packages. This is useful for educators who want to make some of their learning packages mandatory and/or want to collect information about student performance.
In Causeway version 2.8 we have introduced AI assistance in the drafting of questions. Now each of the current question types (Open Question, Ordered List, Word Match and MCQ all have an AI button which, if activated, invites the educator to enter a prompt about the subject matter of the question. The AI function will then create the draft of a question and automatically populate the relevant Causeway form. The draft question can then be edited and amended within Causeway.
